Sustainability
Professionals in the construction industry have an important responsibility in shaping a more sustainable future. Our teams work passionately towards providing solutions that have minimum environmental impact while focusing on long-term added values for the clients and the communities. We are proud to be one of the pioneers in the implementation of green building design in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our architects and engineers were among the first professionals to be certified as Pearl Qualified Professionals (PQP) by Estidama Program, one of the key aspects of Abu Dhabi Vision 2030. By 2014, we certified enough architects and engineers to cover all design disciplines as well as construction supervision services. Our team successfully obtained 2 PEARL and 1 PEARL design rating for government and private projects of different types and scales. Our in-house capabilities include energy modelling and independent commissioning.
History
Professional integrity and the desire to strive for excellence are the founding principles of ALSUWEIDI Engineering Consultants Bureau. The main office was established in Abu Dhabi in 1988 by Eng. Mohammed Abdullah Saleh Al Suweidi and Eng. Maysara Diab with the vision of developing an exemplary consultancy firm. The swift and steady success in Abu Dhabi led to the opening of Al Ain branch in 1990 and expanding in-house services to cover all disciplines over the entire project life cycle from concept design to project hand over. The Dubai branch was established in 1998 and ALSuweidi had the chance to actively participate in the construction boom in one of the world’s fastest growing cities. Realizing the advantages of comprehensive in-house capabilities, ALSUWEIDI continued to expand the scope of services to include land surveying, infrastructure, sustainability, and transportation engineering. In 2013, ALSUWEIDI opened its first branch outside the UAE in Jeddah, KSA, and then further expanded to Aqabah to address the growing Jordanian market. By 2022, ALSUWEIDI successfully completed well over 1000 projects of various types and scales including residential towers and communities, office buildings, shopping centers, workers residential cities, schools, hospitals, mosques, and others.
