Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
• Proficient typing skills.

• Daily Inspections and Testing:

Conduct daily inspections and tests to ensure construction quality aligns with drawings and specifications.

Perform inspections and checks for all quality-related procedures on-site, ensuring activities comply with approved method statements and inspection test plans.

• Coordination and Communication:

Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site In-charge regarding inspections and quality issues, including the closure of Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs).

Liaise with the Technical Engineer for the submission of material submittals to the Consultant.

• Quality Management:

Report to the QA/QC Manager, controlling and monitoring all activities related to the QMS.

Manage QA/QC documents for the entire project, including certificates, calibration records, test results, inspection requests, NCRs, and site instructions/observations.

Ensure the closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Instructions (SIs).

• Documentation and Compliance:

Perform internal audits at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan (PQP).

Monitor and track the company’s IMS performance, reporting to the General Manager.

• IMS Implementation and Maintenance:

Provide expert advice and support to top management in implementing and maintaining the IMS.

Coordinate and communicate relevant IMS information, requirements, and expectations across all organizational levels and functions.

Lead and facilitate the documentation, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the IMS.

Act as a liaison officer for external party auditors and auditing bodies.

Review IMS policies, procedures, processes, and other relevant documents before implementation.

Provide feedback and recommendations to management (at least quarterly) to improve the IMS.

Keep track of records related to the implementation and maintenance of the management system and report to top management during review meetings or as required.

Requirements:

• Educational Background:

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.

• Professional Experience:

Possess extensive experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the construction sector.

Requires thorough experience in directing and implementing quality management systems and standards specified by ISO 9000, ASME, ANSI, ASTM and similar organizations.

• Technical Expertise:

Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of engineering construction stages pertaining to Civil, Architectural, and Structural disciplines.

• Quality Management Systems:

Have a strong grasp of Quality Management System (QMS) and Integrated Management System (IMS) principles and practices.

• Skills:

• Contract Management:

• Verifying the compatibility of the site with the designed permanent works and checking for obstructions.

• Design the Roads in a 3D environment.

• Work coactively with the design team, and collaborate closely with other disciplines ensuring their requirements are fulfilled.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering – Roads.
• 5-8 years of relevant roads design experience.
• Strong knowledge of Authorities’ regulations in UAE and international standards.
• Knowledge in Geometric design of roads and highways (horizontal alignments, vertical alignments, cross-sections, signing and marking) according to local and international standards (AASHTO, etc.).
